Property of the Week: Talmage Lane, East Hampton
This cottage in East Hampton Village is so charming, we half-expect lollipop trees on either side of the door (rather than the hydrangea standards that are there). But there are gas lanterns and a picket fence. Listing agent Angela Boyer-Stump, of Sotheby’s, says “I have enjoyed watching the transformation of this Hampton Classic that is priced to sell.”
Inside, however, the look is much more modern, though still sweet. The ground floor includes a living room with fireplace, separate sitting area, eat-in kitchen, formal dining and a bedroom. In all, there are five bedrooms, including two on the finished lower level, and four and a half baths.
Of course there’s decking to take the fresh air in, which overlooks the pool. Yep, there’s a pool.
There’s even a surf-shack style pool house.
Asking price for all this, repped by Angela Boyer-Stump at Sotheby’s, is $3 million.
