Meditation, Music, And Hot-Button Topics

With names like Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon, G.E. Smith, and David Lynch, The Purist’s Connect 4 Ideas festival at Guild Hall is bound to be thought-provoking. But with music and meditation as part of the mix, it might also provide the perfect mid-August de-stresser.

On Wednesday, August 14, and Thursday, August 15, from 12:45 to 5 PM, Connect 4 brings together today’s thought leaders discussing four hot-button topics: the well-being of ourselves and our environment, meditation and transformation, movements, and policy.

The two-day event includes everything from guided meditations to panel discussions, interviews, music, and even cocktails.

Director and creative thinker David Lynch will Skype in from LA to talk with bestselling author and transcendental meditation expert Bob Roth, author Amanda Little will discuss “The Fate of Food,” acclaimed violinist Junko Ohtsu will play, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon will discuss the political climate, and more.
