Rogers Memorial Library
The Friends of the Rogers Memorial Library will present the TransAtlantic Piano Duo in concert on Sunday, November 17, at 3 PM. The duo, with German-born Steinway Artist Evelyn Ulex and Argentinian master Pablo Lavandera, will perform works by Clara & Robert Schumann, Brahms, and Samuel Barber.
A series produced by the Foreign Policy Association, “Great Decisions 2019,” monthly sessions about topics of global issues will continue on Monday, November 18, at 11:30 AM, at the Southampton library’s Cooper Hall. Dr. Martin Levinson will moderate a session focusing on condition of the state department and diplomacy.
A screening of Wolfgang Becker’s “Good Bye Lenin!” will be held on Monday, November 18, at 3 PM. In East Germany in 1989, during the final days before the fall of the Berlin wall, a mother who is a loyal party member falls into a coma and misses the revolution. After she wakes, doctors say any jarring event could injure her health, making her family go to great lengths to pretend Communism still reigns in Berlin.
An information session with HRHCare of Southampton will be held on Wednesday, November 20, at 5:30 PM. Ligia Soto-Cruz, manager of Outreach Services with Hudson River Health Care, will talk about health services offered and the ways they can help community.

Art Celebrating Women
AW and The Spur Present “Art Celebrating Women” by Chuck Polis. Join Spur South for an evening of conversation and indulgence in Fashion, Beauty & Art on Friday, November 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. Amagansett Kids Programs
Read with Valentino on Saturday, November 16, at 11 AM at the Amagansett library. Everyone welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Come to the library to meet the fabulous Valentino, an American Kennel Club-certified Canine Good Citizen and a wonderfully patient listener.
Rhyme Time will be held on Monday, November 18, at 10:30 AM, for babies and toddlers up to age three with a caregiver. Come say hello to friends at this short and sweet circle time with stories, songs, and rhymes.

Hypertension Prevention
In partnership with the Suffolk County Dept of Minority services and the Witness Project, the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center presents “Well, Well, Well” on Saturday, November 16, from 10:30 AM to 4 PM. There will be free blood pressure and cholesterol checks and a presentation on “Hypertension Prevention and Heart Healthy Living. Healthy refreshments will be served. Batty Talk
The South Fork Natural History Museum in Bridgehampton, on Saturday, November 16, at 7 PM, will host Samantha Hoff, who will deliver a special talk about her work with the Northern Long-eared Bat. Hoff is currently a doctorate student at the University at Albany, studying populations of these bats across coastal communities in the northeast, including Long Island, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.

League Of Women Voters Turns 100

Hampton Bays Assembly Of God
Deanna Richardson, of Missionary to Thailand, will be speaking at Hampton Bays Assembly of God on Wednesday, November 20, at the 7 PM Bible Study, and on Thursday, November 21, at the 10:30 AM Women’s Bible Study.
