The Bridgehampton Fire Department, assisted by mutual aid from several other local fire departments, battled a working structure fire in the roof of a (yet another) large Water Mill mansion at Little Noyac Path in Water Mill, beginning at 8:33 AM on Saturday, December 28.
The large home, complete with aviary, and many other animals which are kept in other structures on the property, belongs to heiress Anne Hearst and her husband, author and columnist Jay McInerney.
