The Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton is hosting its 18th annual Rev. Martin Luther King breakfast on Monday, January 20, from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The event celebrates the life and legacy of the late Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. There will be fellowship, food, musical offerings, and a talk by professor James Banks, who drew particular inspiration from Dr. King’s phrase: “An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
Space is limited and registration is required. Contact 631-283-0774, ext. 523, or visit www.myrml.org.
