Springs Students Meet NFL Player

New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Ethan Greenidge visited fourth-graders in the Springs Union Free School District earlier this month. The 22-year-old is the brother of teaching assistant Jarron Greenidge.

Ethan Greenidge talked to students, who got a chance to practice interviewing skills, about the importance of teamwork and dedication.

Weekly swimming lessons also began at the YMCA. Elementary students attend lessons with instructors once a week throughout the winter. The program is financed through the annual Turkey Trot fundraiser.
