Mattituck-Laurel Library
Library programs at the Mattituck Laurel Library for Thursday, February 6: Cleaning Up Your Diet at 10 AM, Senior Cafe and Conversation at 11 AM, and Ready, Set, Eat with Chef Rob at 6 PM. The programs are free.
For Friday, February 7, there will be a screening of Harriet Tubman film “Harriet” at 1:30 PM. On Saturday, February 8, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM, an art reception features a watercolor exhibit from artist David Warren, “Fork.”
On Sunday, February 9, enjoy a concert featuring Gene Casey, “Making Music, Feeling Blessed,” at the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library.

Heart Month Talk
February is American Heart Month. Join Dr. Michael Sorrentino of the Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital on Friday, February 7, at 11 AM to learn about your risks for heart disease and what you need to do now to help your heart. Science Center Magic
The Long Island Science Center in Riverhead will host a workshop featuring ElectroMagic on Saturday, February 8, from 2 to 3 PM. Electricity comes alive in demonstrations using a Van de Graaff generator and Tesla coil. Admission is $10, instructor-led workshop fee is $5, free for members. Automotive Swap and Shop
The 21st annual Automotive Swap Meet & Flea Market will be held on Sunday, February 9, from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Southold Town Recreation Center. There will be dozens of vendor tables displaying all manner of automotive items for sale such as memorabilia, automotive books and literature, and collectible items.
