Get To Know Your Judges

The League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island, and the North Fork is hosting a “Getting to Know Your Local Judges” event Monday, March 16, at 7 PM at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton.

Those in attendance will learn about the Town of East Hampton, Town of Southampton, and Town of Southold court systems from the people who know.

Judges expected to speak are East Hampton Town Justice Lisa Rana, Southampton Town Justices Karen Sartain and Barbara Wilson, and Southold Town Justice Eileen Powers.

Refreshments will precede the forum. Organizing the event is the league’s Voter Services Committee chair Barbara McClancy of Amagansett.
