Lohan Moves Confrontation Farther East

Michael Lohan was back in handcuffs after East Hampton town police arrested the father of actress, Lindsay Lohan on March 16.

Lohan, 50, was arrested at his Southampton Village home late in the morning for violating his order of protection against his second wife, 37-year-old Kate Major Lohan. The pair, police say, pre-planned a shopping trip to the Cirillo’s Market Amagansett IGA on February 22.

Michael Lohan was arrested by Southampton Village police on a misdemeanor charge following a February 10 incident in which Kate Major alleged he choked her, causing bruising on her throat. Southampton Village Justice Barbara Wilson issued the order of protection. While that charge has since been adjudicated to a simple violation, disorderly conduct, the order of protection remains in full effect, according to police.

Kate Major Lohan contacted police on February 28 to file a complaint for the new incident.

Lohan was released without bail after his arraignment late afternoon after his arrest, but not before being cautioned by Justice Lisa Rana to stay away from his wife.
