Weekly Art Program At CMEE Riverside From Art To Health At Library
The Children’s Museum of the East End has announced it’s offering a weekly family art program at its new location in Riverside. The space will be used by the museum for enrichment programs while continuing to serve as a daytime preschool. Currently, the art program meets on Thursday nights from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Drop by the Mattituck-Laurel Library for an evening Play to Learn workshop for those 13 months to 3 years old. Enjoy the unique experience of spending quality time with your child through play and art activities ending with a circle of songs and rhymes. No registration is required.
Need help for painful knees and hips? Come meet Mattituck native Seth B. Korbin MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, on Thursday, March 12, at 6:30 PM. He will discuss how the newest advances in orthopedic surgery can restore the quality of life of those who suffer from pain-related to arthritic knees and hips.

Women’s Healthcare Panel
Meet a panel of female medical experts who have been brought to the area to address the needs of women’s healthcare on Monday, March 16, at noon at the Riverhead Free Library. Boaters’ Education Courses
The United States Power Squadron will be offering America’s Boating Course on Saturday April 25 and Saturday May 2 at 9 AM at the Mattituck-Laurel Library. America’s Boating Course is approved by the state and the Unites States Coast Guard, and is available for boaters to comply with state boater laws.
The two sessions will cover boating law, safety equipment, safe boating practices, navigation, boating emergencies, personal watercraft, charts, GPS, trailering, and much more. Attendees will receive the America’s Boating Course manual, and, after passing an exam, a completion certificate. The $50 fee covers the cost of the manual.
