Bridgehampton Students Grow Plants

Judiann Carmack-Fayyaz, who teaches environmental design and technology at Bridgehampton School, is seen here May 21 stocking the Bhumi farm stand on Pantigo Road in East Hampton. The young plants were grown by students at Bridgehampton School, Carmack-Fayyaz explained.

“All the proceeds go to our agriculture program,” she said. “We have a big greenhouse and we have the little farm stand. We are not opening the farm stand because of COVID-19, so farmer Frank [Trentacoste] is allowing us to sell them here.”
