Let’s Make Pizza
Pizza lovers, rejoice. It’s time for a Memorial Day weekend Pizza Party. Award-winning chef Laurent Tourondel — the owner of the BLT group, which includes Sag Harbor’s LT Burger and Sag Pizza — is hosting a special “Let’s Make Pizza” night to help raise money for Guild Hall’s Restart Fund.
It all happens on Sunday, May 24, from 4 to 6 PM. Tourondel will share his secrets during this interactive pizza-making party. Guests who sign up will receive a kit from Sag Pizza with everything needed to make the perfect pie. This includes dough, sauce, cheese, and a bottle of wine.
“We are all looking for creative ways to keep our beloved restaurants and organizations alive during this difficult time,” said Tourondel. “I’m really happy to be able to collaborate with Guild Hall in this event. Pizza is a universal favorite, so I’m hoping as many people as possible join us and everything you need will be delivered directly to your door.”
Options include supplies for one or two pies, a choice of red or white wine, and will be delivered by Hampton Essentials on Saturday. Guests must place orders by 4 PM on Friday.
“Guild Hall is such an integral part of this East End community and we are always looking for ways to support and collaborate with local people and businesses,” said Guild Hall’s executive director Andrea Grover. “We are grateful to Laurent Tourondel just as we are launching our Restart Fund. Sunday will be a fun way to support Guild Hall and Sag Pizza, and the first of several, creative new fundraising events that we will bring to patrons this summer.”
Options start at $130. Pizza lovers living outside of the region can also participate via Zoom, for $50, by bringing their own ingredients. Delivery is available from Westhampton to Montauk.
