The Concert For Caregivers
The Concert For Caregivers will be held this weekend to benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Health Care Heroes Fund for COVID-19. The virtual music festival is presented by 92.9 and 96.9 WEHM.
The festival features videos from national recording artists from the ‘EHM playlist like The Killers, Lucinda Williams, Pete Yorn, KT Tunstall, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Lone Bellow, and more surprises. The artists have donated the videos and many were filmed in their homes.
Local East End artists like Nancy Atlas, Taylor Barton, Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks, Inda Eaton, Caroline Doctorow, and others contributed videos to show support.
“We are so grateful to all the staff at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, especially during this pandemic,” said Lauren Stone, the owner and midday host of ‘EHM. “Thanks to the generosity of all these musicians, we gather together in supporting and raising funds for our local health care heroes.”
The concert kicks off on Friday, May 22 and will run through Monday, May 25. Visit www.concertforcaregivers.com.
