Indy Scene: The Beginning of Something Beautiful
This year’s social season is pushing onward into the end of the Summer and the beginning of Fall. If you are continuing your staycation on the East End, or slowly making your way back to the Big Apple, here are the people, places and events to look forward to in the upcoming months.
WHERE TO PLAY
Hampton Hills Golf & Country Club
Hampton Hills Golf & Country Club is Westhampton Beach’s – and possibly the Hamptons – best kept golfing secret, nestled amongst 2,000 acres of the Pine Barrens. Respected as one of the more challenging courses in the Hamptons, the masterfully designed golf and country club promises exciting activities for the entire family. The Hampton Hills Golf and Country Club’s peaceful, wooded setting allows club members to escape the city life and participate in friendly competition against a challenging Par-71 – 148 slope golf course featuring dramatic elevation changes. At the end of the course, members can enjoy a casual meal inside the clubhouse or on the patio. The stunning view overlooking the 18th green from the Hampton Hills Clubhouse will be a memory the entire family will treasure. hamptonhills.com

CONTRIBUTE TO A CAUSE
Prostate Cancer Foundation
The COVID-19 Pandemic put a lot of the biggest events of the Summer on hold, including the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s (PCF) Gala in The Hamptons. While you may not be able to attend the large celebrity filled gala this year, you can still donate to the cause that identifies and funds groundbreaking cancer research programs. Founded in 1993 by Mike Milken, PCF has funded nearly $800 million of cutting-edge research by 2,200 scientists at 220 leading cancer centers in 22 countries around the world. With hopes of galas being held in the near future, look out for PCF’s events in 2021. pcf.org
