Child Safety Seat Check on Saturday

With 70% of child safety seats installed incorrectly, the Southampton Town police are offering an opportunity to have a certified technician check the child seat in your car.

In partnership with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the Southampton Town Police Explorers, officers will be on hand at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital on Meetinghouse Lane Saturday. They will inspect infant seats, convertible seats and booster seats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The safety event is free of charge.
