Cops: Woman Used Stolen Credit Card at Several Businesses in the Hamptons
East Hampton Town Police Department detectives are looking to identify the woman who used a stolen credit card at several locations on the South Fork in September.
A cellphone case containing the credit card, a driver’s license and an iPhone 8 was stolen from a woman while she was shopping at Home Goods in Wainscott on September 8 at approximately 1:30 p.m., police said. A woman, caught on surveillance video, then used the credit card at stores in East Hampton and Southampton. She left in a dark colored sport utility vehicle, pictured below.
