Next Destination for 'MAGA-Gras' Is the North Fork

With 47 days left until the Presidential election  on November 3, backers of President Donald Trump will take to the streets to rally support.

The MAGA-Gras II, a Trump 2020 truck and car parade, which was held further west a few weeks ago, will arrive on the North Fork Sunday. The group will meet in East Northport at 10 a.m., and head for Riverhead, where the caravan will  gather at 605 Old Country Road, the old Walmart property, before the second leg of the trip to Greenport, the organizer Shawn Farash of West Babylon announced on Facebook.

Instructions for those joining in trucks and cars and on bikes is to bring flags, wear hats and anything else that “is in support of our country, our servicemen and women, our veterans, our law enforcement, and our first responders, and of course, OUR PRESIDENT, is welcome,” the post reads. “Once again if you do not wish to drive the route, come support us from the sidewalks!”

Farash also organized a rally on September 7 that started in Copiague and went on to Patchogue and Shirley. According to Newsday, between 100 and 200 Trump supporters turned out along the parade route.

An estimated 2,700 people expressed interest in the event with more than 500 marking themselves as going as of Tuesday evening.

It continued, “Our first parade went well, judging by everyone’s reactions and outpouring of support, as well as the incredible turnout. Let’s do it again, on the North Shore, as we make our presence felt. The Silent Majority: Silent No More.”

Last month, two boating events were held to show support for Trump, the first being a TrumpStock parade from Noyac to Orient and then to Montauk. It was held the day before the President made a quick trip to Southampton and Bridgehampton for fundraisers. Another boat parade was held in Shinnecock Bay later in August, which attracted several hundred Trump supporters, more than the first, which had been more widely publicized.
