Bennifer 2.0 and A-Rod Move On, with Speed Bumps and Pizza
Water Mill superstar Jennifer Lopez‘s love life is never boring. Her split from former fiance Alex Rodriguez and internet-breaking return to the arms of old beau Ben Affleck continue to drive gossip as all three headline-grabbers try to move on, together and apart.
Pizza Prankster
A possible prankster, or possibly not, who went by the name of “Ben Afflec,” sent $141.32 worth of Chicago stuffed jalapeno ranch deep-dish pizzas from the Florida-based online pizza shop Bulls Bears & Squares to A-Rod‘s rented mansion in Bridgehampton on June 17.
According to TMZ, $140 will get you three pies including shipping costs, and the possible prankster made sure to ask for chicken on the pizza, raising the question of whether or not it was some sort of message to Rodriguez. Unfortunately, the pizzas didn’t include a note, so it remains a mystery. Of course, this could all be some sort of brilliant guerrilla marketing move by the pizza shop everyone is suddenly talking about, but that is pure conjecture.
Meanwhile on August 17, though reports indicate Lopez has now cut all business ties to Rodriguez, the former Yankees slugger told Entertainment Tonight, that he has no regrets about his relationship with JLo and is “grateful” for the time they spent together. He’s been seen out partying and chatting up all sorts of women in his travels, including a recent trip to Las Vegas where he hit the Ominia nightclub on August 13.
Moving On and In
But the breakup was clearly hard on Rodriguez. Apparently, he learned JLo and Affleck were texting each other frequently as far back as February, months before the pair called off their engagement after three years together, according to TMZ, which also reports that Ben and Jen may be planning to cohabitate.
Bennifer 2.0 have been looking at huge estates in L.A. and Lopez is checking out schools for their kids.
Lopez will be heading to Vancouver, Canada in October to shoot her new science-fiction series, Atlas, for Netflix. Filming is slated to run through January 2022.
Batfleck
Affleck, meanwhile, will play his Zack Snyder-verse version of Batman one more time in director Andy Muschietti‘s The Flash movie, shooting in September. The film will see Ezra Miller reprise his role as Barry Allen from Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will introduce the multiverse to the DC Extended Universe of movies and TV shows, just as Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is doing with their latest film and television projects.
And, in the same way Spider-Man: No Way Home will highlight villains and characters from past Spider-Man films, it’s been confirmed that The Flash is based on DC’s time- and dimension-traveling comic series Flashpoint and it will also deliver some exciting appearances, such as Michael Keaton playing his iconic version of the Caped Crusader and his alter-ego Bruce Wayne from Tim Burton‘s 1989 Batman.
The Flash will mark Affleck’s last time playing the Dark Knight before Twilight star Robert Pattinson dons the cowl and becomes the World’s Greatest Detective.
