Martha Stewart & Snoop Dogg Reunite for New Food Competition
East Hampton’s domestic diva Martha Stewart and rapper Snoop Dogg are reuniting to judge a new food competition special, Snoop and Martha’s Very Tasty Halloween, airing on NBC’s Peacock streaming platform on Thursday, October 14.
The unlikely yet perfect-together duo first shared their onscreen magic with VH1’s 2016 hit Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, and they’ve made many appearances together since whatever alchemy was at work to join them paid off in a big way. According to The Futon Critic, the one-hour special is part of a partnership between Peacock and Buzz Feed to create “original unscripted programming that includes multiple projects in active development across celebrity, pop culture, games and pets.”
Stewart and Snoop will host and judge—along with Tasty digital food network content creator Alvin Zhou—three teams of experienced bakers, aka “Scare Squads,” who will bake enough goodies to build a “full-sensory 12×12 Halloween world that people can literally explore.” Each 144-square-foot world must follow a fear theme and be made of edible components.
Once a winner is crowned, the competition will flow into a wild Halloween party.
As always, expect lots of laughs and fun thanks to Snoop Dogg and Stewart’s winning dynamic, and maybe come away with a few ideas to decorate your home with edible treats for Halloween. You’ll have two whole weeks to figure it out after the show airs.
We can’t wait to see their costumes!
