James Mallios, managing partner for Civetta Hospitality, is an entrepreneur and restaurateur who owns a number of local restaurants around New York City and Long Island.

Mallios operates Amali (UES), Calissa (Water Mill), Bar Marseille (Rockaways), and Juniper at the Vanderbilt (Nassau County). Civetta’s restaurants have received awards and critical acclaim from President Barack Obama, The Ford Foundation and the City of New York for their commitment to community, philanthropy and sustainable business practices.
