It's Time to Vote for Dan's Best of the Best 2021
It’s that magical time of year once again — no, not the holiday season — Dan’s Best of the Best voting season! Yes, it’s time once more to cast your ballots for the best hair stylist in the Hamptons, the best burger on the North Fork, the best rosé across the East End and hundreds of other categories!
The East End is well-known for its abundance of astounding arts, fine foods, stellar shopping and so much more. But the question of which can be considered more reliable, more popular, more enticing than its competitors is one that can’t simply be answered once. Businesses evolve over time, and their patrons do as well; new competition is introduced or old competition rebrands. The East End is constantly changing, and thus, so are its “best” components.
The businesses and hardworking individuals that get nominated for the Best of the Best contest are truly some of the most beloved in the area, which makes the competition for the single shining award in each category all the more fierce. Is the pizza at Sag Pizza better than at 2020 winner Citarella? Which is the better yoga studio — 2020 winner Good Ground Yoga or 2019 winner House of Wellness? Love Lane Kitchen’s continental cuisine versus The Halyard at Soundview Greenport’s; Croteux Vineyards’ tasting room or Sparkling Pointe’s — the choice is yours in the 2021 contest!
Each year, Dan’s Papers readers cast votes in numerous categories split between the Twin Forks, the Hamptons and the North Fork, including Arts & Entertainment, Food & Drink, Home & Personal Services, Restaurants & Nightlife, Wellness & Beauty, Pet & Animal Services, Professional Services, Recreation Travel & Tourism, Shopping, and Wine & Wineries. You can cast multiple votes, just not on the same day, so a handful of passionate, dedicated voters can really swing a vote in a business’s favor.
While the fun of competition is certainly a compelling enough reason to get excited about the Best of the Best contest, the results provide a vital roadmap to the East End that helps visitors find the lobster roll most worth the trip or the hotel that comes with the highest recommendation. The results even come in handy for locals, allowing them to discover a tucked-away ice cream shop they didn’t know about or an up-and-coming handyman that’s quickly proving their skill to area homeowners.
A voters guide will be included in an upcoming fall issue of Dan’s Papers, so be sure to grab that when it comes out. The 2021 contest closes at 11:59 p.m. on December 31; don’t wait to start nominating and voting at DansBOTB.com.
Once the polls close and the votes are counted, each winner will be contacted and given information about how to collect their awards and start taking advantage of the benefits of being a Dan’s Best of the Best winner. Our Best of the Best winners will be featured throughout the year in various Best of the Best Spotlight articles here on DansPapers.com and in Dan’s Papers, giving readers a more in-depth view of the very best the East End has to offer.
To vote in Dan’s Best of the Best 2021, you must log in at DansBOTB.com. Winners will be announced right here on DansPapers.com and showcased in a special January 2022 issue of Dan’s Papers.
