Photos: Ala von Auersperg Benefit for Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope
An outdoor sip and shop at Ala von Auersperg Palm Beach took place on the loveliest of evenings in January.
With a percentage of the event’s proceeds going towards the Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope Inc., and with Italian ’70s disco being played by DJ Brett, all those included had an eventful night.
A fashion show of Ala von Auersperg’s collection of multifaceted silhouettes designed for modern women was on full display. Auersperg’s original prints featured an effortless style that was inspired by her own artworks, and comprised lavish and comfortable fabrics.
Auersperg and the Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope
The Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope was born in 2003 as a way for spouses Charles Fischer Jr., a Palm Beach County banker, and Greta Jean Fischer, an administrator of radiation therapy centers, to organize efforts to fight the incredible destruction that cancer diagnoses were wreaking on Palm Beach residents.
So the alliance’s success story goes:
“This grassroots nonprofit organization now serves more than 1,000 clients and family members per year, disbursing financial assistance to cancer patients in extraordinary need, as well as providing comfort and help through vibrant programs for generous care baskets, food and fuel gift cards, wigs and caps, children’s school supplies and care for beloved pets.”
