After an immensely successful inaugural year, the Hamptons Pride Parade made its highly anticipated return to East Hampton, thanks to the unwavering dedication of Tom House and Hamptons Pride Inc. The organization was initially established to garner support for a historical marker at the former site of The Swamp, the Hamptons’ renowned gay bar.

The Village of East Hampton approached House with the idea of a Hamptons Pride Parade, adding a thrilling new component to his fundraising and planning endeavors. The first parade exceeded all expectations, drawing an unprecedented number of attendees and becoming the second largest procession in East Hampton’s history.

The Hamptons Pride Parade allowed all participants to register for free, as House firmly believes that no one should be excluded due to financial restraints. This year, an impressive array of organizations and groups joined the parade, proudly marching alongside the diverse and vibrant participants.
