Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County Presented Local Veteran Keys to New Home
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County (HFHGPBC) hosted a special home dedication for a local veteran in Lake Worth Beach as part of Veterans Build 2022. The property where the home was built was donated by the Lake Worth Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and Palm Beach County.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County Veterans Build partners with military service members, their families, and the families of the fallen to build affordable housing. Habitat believes service members deserve to be welcomed home with honor, dignity, and respect.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County’s Veterans Build officially began in 2021 in response to grassroots Habitat efforts to serve the housing needs of returning veterans. Habitat is now empowering military and veteran families to achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives.
Veteran Build 2022 Co-Chairs Chuck Millar & Julia Dattolo were thrilled to present Army veteran Melissa Royal and her family with the keys to their forever home.
