LongHouse MidSummer Annual Benefit Celebrates Artistic Brilliance
The LongHouse Reserve celebrated its annual summer benefit that came to life as friends and supporters gathered to celebrate the captivating creativity of artist Mary Heilmann and the literary brilliance of A.M. Homes. The enchanting evening, themed “MidSummer Dream,” transported guests into a whimsical world as they entered through the sand dunes.
Hamptons Fly treated attendees to a mesmerizing array of pop-ups, including stilt walkers, musicians, dancers, a horse ride and even a merman, while trapeze aerialists and acrobats dazzled the audience with breathtaking performances. The night commenced with a delightful garden party, offering signature cocktails from various East End vendors. Under a tent on the Great Lawn, guests indulged in a sumptuous dinner. The Junior Comittee hosted an exuberant after-party, featuring cocktails, delectable desserts and DJ Amber Valentine spinning tunes for lively dancing.
An impressive art auction, benefiting education at LongHouse, featured works by esteemed artists. The entire 16-acre grounds were a playground of extraordinary outdoor art, delighting enthusiasts at every turn. Additionally, the Summer Arrangement: Object & Thing exhibition graced the event with its captivating presence.
