Kelsey Grammer Brings Faith Beer to Sound View Greenport

Emmy Award-winning actor and star of Paramount+’s new Frasier reboot, Kelsey Grammer, is coming back to the East End next month to promote his craft beer company at Sound View Greenport on the North Fork.

The iconic voice of The Simpsons‘ Sideshow Bob, and the man who’s played Dr. Frasier Crane in three television series (from Cheers to Frasier and its revival), Grammer will bring his Faith American Brewing Company beer to Sound View Greenport for an intimate evening at the recently refurbished waterfront hotel and restaurant on Friday, November 17 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

In a press release sent Monday, Sound View Greenport said the public is invited to attend and explore the newly updated hotel and restaurant.

Grammer will also be in town to attend this year’s North Fork TV Festival on Friday and Saturday, November 17–18. The actor has attended the North Fork TV Festival before, and was a recipient its esteemed Canopy Award in 2019.

In August, Grammer guest bartended at 75 Main in Southampton to promote his Faith American brand, founded in the Catskills in 2015.

Frasier returned to television via the Paramount+ streaming service earlier this month, rebooting the classic Cheers spinoff which ran for 11 seasons, from 1993 to 2004. In the new series, Frasier moves from Seattle to his original Cheers home in Boston, MA “with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.”

Among these challenges and changes is the inclusion of his adult son, Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) — putting Frasier in the role once held by his father, Martin “Marty” Crane (played by John Mahoney, who died in 2018), in the original show.
