The Garden City headquarters of Life’s WORC, a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of people with special needs, placed Victoria Schneps-Yunis’ name on their building, as tribute to her, the founder.
The event garnered attention and support from guests of honor, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, County Executives Steve Bellone and Bruce Blakeman, and Assemblywomen Rebecca Seawright and Jodi Giglio.
As the ceremony reached its conclusion, Lynne Koufakis, the board chair of Life’s WORC, raised a toast to Victoria Schneps, underscoring her efforts. This naming serves as a testament to the impact of the organization and her dedication to enhancing the lives of those with special needs.
