The Neo-Political Cowgirls presented Andromeda’s Sisters, igniting courage in times of conflict during their eighth annual arts and advocacy event at the LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton.
The event, a Champagne party, featured plays, panels and immersive experiences showcasing the work of female artists. Gail Pellett, an award-winning writer, director and producer, served as honorary chairwoman and received the Andromeda’s Sisters Award.
Writer A.M. Homes moderated a panel that included filmmaker and activist Abigail Disney, performing artist Lucy Sexton and OLA of Eastern Long Island Executive Director Minerva Perez.
Performers Jennifer Ferrin, Emma Tattenbaum-Fine and Starr Busby added entertainment in the form of plays to the gathering.
