Habitat for Humanity Dedicates Home to Local Mom
A local mother had her dream come true when she received keys to her family’s new home.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County (HFHGPBC) presented keys to the Mores Family during a heartwarming dedication ceremony.
Proud sponsors of this Habitat home in West Palm Beach were Florida Peninsula Insurance Company (an Annual Home Sponsor), the City of West Palm Beach, and Joseph Pubillones Interiors.
Diana Mores, a single mother of two young children and a lead server at a local restaurant, had always dreamed that her family would have their own home; however, with the rising cost of housing, her dream was out of reach.
That was until she learned about Habitat for Humanity and embarked on her journey to first-time homeownership.
“Being able to afford a home where my children can have their own rooms is a blessing,” shared Diana at the dedication ceremony.
“We are now ready to build stories in our home.” Florida Peninsula Insurance Company presented Diana and her children with the keys to their new Habitat Home, which they sponsored and helped build.
“As a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity, we are proud to say this is our 7th sponsored home. Handing over the keys to someone’s forever home is one of my favorite things to do,” said Paul Adkins, CEO of Florida Peninsula Insurance. “We are excited for Diana and her family to be first-time homeowners.”
When Diana opened the door and entered the house with her children, they received the surprise of a lifetime.
They walked in to discover that the entire home had been beautifully decorated by Joseph Pubillones Interiors.
The fully furnished home featured stylish décor and special design touches implemented with the family in mind.
